Audio-Converter App Reviews

Don’t waste your time or money.

I wanted a simple program to convert AAC to MP3 for my car’s SD card interface. This looked clean and uncomplicated. Sadly, it crashes repeatedly after only processing 2-3 songs. I tried multiple albums at various settings and never succeeded. I contacted the developer who promptly responded and asked me for some info. He was unable to help. A waste of money. I just bought "MP3 Encoder" which worked the first time and every time thereafter.

Best Customer Service Response EVER!

I’ve used customer service from various companies for over 40 yrs. I’ve worked in customer service for over 10 yrs. This was the best customer service experience I’ve ever encountered. I sent an email about a file-type I’d never heard of before, within a few HOURS (not days, certainly not weeks) I got a response politely asking if I’d send a copy of one of those files to the Hewbo company. Less than a day after I did so, I got a copy of the same file back as an mp3 and tested it. It worked fine!! These people are exactly what you’d hope to be able to do business with.

Simple, easy to use and works

No tutorial needed. The functions are obvious from the simple interface. Does one thing and does it well.

Nice app

I needed a quick app to convert .m4a files to .mp3 (thanks to Apple’s great wisdom of removing that option from GarageBand). This works nicely for that.

utterly convenient

Hasnt got a million bells and whistle, and thats a good thing. Set the output format, drop a file in, done.

Fabulous!

Great simple app for converting wavs to mp3s!

AMAZING

I was looking for something right then and there, and I found it right then and there. Just what I needed! This will make it so much easier for me to fix the default sounds I’ve been dealing with for the past at least five years. :)

Great program!

This is a great little program! Easy to use, easy to install, it does the job, just what I needed. I convert quite a few songs from MP4 to MP3, it happens in a flash with no fuss. I love it! Great price too.

Couldn’t get the job done

I was coverting 3 “aiff” discs to mp3’s. It was only able to complete one of the conversions. The other two were only converted about 75% before the program stopped.

Audio-Converter

This has not failed me and it is easy to use.

Great!

It has functioned perfectly everytime I have needed it too. Its great for converting movies into mp3.

work for me

I used it to convert my flac audio file and it work completely

Sorry, but

Hate to give a bad review but downloaded. Launched. Crashes. I’m sure there’s a fix but for now, just now working.

Great way to convert

Im glad that I downloaded this app because its helped me so much with my windows media player friends. If it wasnt for this app there would be a lot of people scratching their heads. Oh and the fact its only .99 there should be no reason to buy this app.

Easy to use

It does its job very ably.

Did Not Work

Came up very nicely then quits. Applied to Apple for a refund.

Get The Job Done!!!

I have just started using Audio-Converter and I am glad to say it does exactly what they say it would do, although I have just been using it to convert .aif to MP3. So what else can I say, IT WORKS!!!

Sweet!!

AC3 5.1 > FLAC 2.0 worked great! Thanks!! Been missing a converter like this on the Mac side for some time now.

Great for Audio Conversion

This app is great! I use it so much for converting songs, audio and SFX for movies and personal entertainment. Only 1 dollar too! I highly recommend this app. SO Many different audio formats!

Non-existent settings support

This app only supports a very limited number of conversion settings, making it pretty much useless. The sad part is there really isn’t a reason to not support more conversion settings, given how trivial it is. For example, I need to convert some audio to wav mono 8kHz 16-bit. I can convert to wav, but there’s no mono in the channels drop down, there’s only 32, 44.1, and 48kHz in the sample rate, and only one PCM in the encoder. As I’m looking through, I see the same lack of options in each of the output formats. Seriously, what’t the point of making a converter if you’re going to rip out half of the useful settings? I’m glad I only wasted a dollar.
