QUICK AND EASY, WHEN NOTHING ELSE WORKED! ON TARGET

I only use it to convert AAC to MP3’s, and for that it’s quick and simple.

Paid for and download piece of C*#P…. I have a new iMac with all the updates. If you enjoy getting error messages (“Error Stream#0.1: stereo) while attempting to convert WMA files to mp3 file format WITHOUT success, then this is the app for you. There is abslolutely no explanation or other setting options. Glad it works for others. Certainly doesn’t work with my new system. It does capture the album details… pretty worthless without the music. i will continue the search for a REAL app.

I have been through a few different converter apps and this one seems to be the most consistent for me. Only complaint is that I wish it were a bit faster. But at least it gets the job done!

I convert lots of audio files for my clients so I use this tool very often. I love how simple and easy it is to use and how quick it gets the job done. I also love the feature that deletes the old file after conversion. This really helps to clear up old files that clutter my computer otherwise. If you convert files often or just every now and again, get this tool because it rocks! Plus it’s only $.99, what are you waiting for?

good app worth getting make my music prodcution very easy

I normaly don’t do reviews on apps but Audio-Converter is hands down one of the best conversion apps I’ve ever downloaded or used. It’s definitly a most have for audio pro’s.

99 cents and a minute later I now have my MP3, AWESOME! A+++ I love it, simple, gets the job done quick. No fuss.

Serieously, it is so convient and easy to use. When I am working, and find a file in the wrong format, I just drop it on the window, and it converts it instantly to my desired format. So say I need wave files, I set it to convert to wave, specify the output folder, and thats it. Truely the greatest thing since sliced bread :). This will remain a part of my audio tool box. **** I forgot I had wrote this review….I was using it, and found it so useful that I came back to write review, and found that I already had done so. This time I was using it to batch covert a number of Audio files from a “playlist" into MP3’s, without mucking up my original playlist. It left my source playlist untouched, and quickely put my converted files into a folder that I specified….*****

I second the praise reviews of others, but I want to say one thing more. I have movies of my shows which i break down into individual songs. It’s a piece of cake to just drag the mp4 file into Audio-Converter and create an mp3 in the folder I want. I can set the bit rate to 320 kbps too. There is nothing simpler and quicker. Real nice tool to have.

Does not work with batch processing of .m4a to .mp3

FLAC to AAC/MP4 conversion results are horrible, even at the highest 320Kbps setting. Honestly unsure if that setting actually does anything, because the high-frequency mush artifacts do not seem to change with the higher settings.

Used this App to convert all of the church’s WMA music files to MP3 because we converted our computer sound system to MAC from Windows. I created a WMA folder and dragged all of the WMA songs into one folder, 918 songs (thank God the rest were all ready MP3) and then proceded to use the audio converter app. After initial set-up of “type" and "destination of converted songs”, it was a piece of cake until I got greedy and tried to drag and drop and dump all 900 files to be converted at once. It’s good, but not that good. It took a lot of errors from songs that couldnt be converted. I ended up doing about 10 songs at a time. You do the math. It got the job done though, but it was most definitely time consuming. For the songs that couldnt be converted (about 50 of them), guess I’ll have to try someting else or redownload them. Great APP though. Very easy to use and very helpful...

I got it because of the friendly price, but it doesn’t work!

Total waste of money. I shocked that iTunes would carry something as worthless as this. The free stuff is far superior. Even iTunes converts much easier. Don’t waste your money. When I clicked on their support page, I got a free app from them which was even worse.

No option to set the output directory to be the same as the source file.

Fast, easy, no fuss and it works. Doesnt interrupt workflow; does the job quickly. Can’t live without it!

I read the reviews and thought I would try the program either way. Only about 50% of my .wma would convert to .m4a or .mp3. Not a good ratio. Error Stream #0.0 : stereo was the constant failure. No explaination.
